ICON CASONA / MADRID

Interior design for the communal areas and restaurant of a hotel. The aim here was to preserve the essence of the stately home in which it is located. The domestic scale of the spaces helps to create a more intimate ambiance that is unusual in grand hotels. The color palette is particularly important; this combined with art deco elements and the use of exceptionally quality materials harken to a bygone era. The result is a fusion of past and present.
